Seylec have the software and training ranging from various manufacturers multiplex to Victron
Inverter chargers but please remember Seylec do not fix engines, dashboards or fit alarms/mobile phone kits. Seylec do not have huge product lists on the site for the simple reason that most installations, requests
and repairs are unique. New installations are undertaken, but Seylec's priority
is field repairs to auxilary systems. This normally means any electrical devices installed on the vehicle that were not fitted
by the original manufacturer ie; Ford, VW, Honda, Mercedes etc. Example auxilary equipments
are charge systems for second batteries, relay or canbus control systems, inverters / DC to DC converters and signal/functional
lighting. For new installations, Seylec can recommend the most suitable vehicle
converter/body builder for your specific application, be it armour plating or rapid response vehicle conversion, Seylec
work with the key companies in the UK and France. Auxilary system design and supplier
recommendation is also available for customer bespoke specifications. Something introduced in 2008 was any vehicles with mains voltage are now covered under BS7671 : 2008,
its the Wiring requirements issued by BSI & IEE. For mobile applications it is section 717 of the
new regs, for caravans and motorhomes it is section 721. So as of July 1st 2008, make certain
you have a qualified person ( Seylec staff or someone qualified to City & Guilds 2382 ) doing any work on your vehicle
if its 230 or 110V.

In addition to Police, Fire and Ambulance, Seylec also offer support in the following automotive
sectors:
Command and Control vehicles

Please also contact us if you require a second hand Emergency / Military vehicle or general
spare parts for older vehicles. As we work with so many companies and Trusts, we often know when Ambulances for example are
coming up for sale and where salvaged vehicles are being stored. We also have contacts with plenty of private emergency
and military vehicle owners whos equipment is available for hire in film, TV and PR events (see the vehicles for sale/hire
page).
